31 Day Challenge - Inspired by a song

"I can sing a Rainbow"

How people manage this challenge, I have no idea! I tried to cheat and pick something easy like 'Back to Black' by Amy Winehouse. I'd planned it in my head and it looked just fine and was nice and straight forward to do. Unfortunately once I'd done it, it looked kinda messy and terrible.

Ages ago, when I was having lunch with my parents and I was saying 'arrgh I don't know what to dooo for the song!' and Dad's first suggestion was 'I can sing a Rainbow'.. so I've gone with that and here's my attempt. And for those who are wondering why the rainbow isn't in order.. it's like that (for some reason!) in the song :)

Here's the version that we learned at school, though there are variations.

"Red and yellow and pink and green
Purple and orange and blue

So there we go! It was all painted freehand using acrylic paints and a very fine nail art brush. The base white was Snow Me White by Sinful Colors with a Seche Vite top coat.

Failed 'Back to Black' nails..
